Stop fuming

Anger brews up fumes we call bad breath proving that noxious thoughts produce noxious smells! When you are furious that “the world is not going my way,” it brings on high blood pressure. In trying to suppress the fury, the darn thing only collects, clogs into a blood clot and sets you up for a paralytic stroke. Impatient irritation flares up as ulcers while a slow inner burning at some injustice you feel has been done unto you erupts from the skin as horrid looking blisters. Bursitis, an acute pain in the upper arm or shoulders occurs when you want to literally beat up somebody for ignoring your existence or not listening to your views.

Give up being rigid

A rigid attitude with its uncompromising stance stiffens joints and hardens arteries. An unwillingness to let go prejudices causes constipation. And when irritants are allowed to establish themselves, they become tumors. Switching off mentally “I don’t want to hear” can spin our earaches and even gradually turn into deafness

Eat nutritious food

One of the ways to build up your immunity this summer is by consuming nutritious foods. Experts aver that the nutritional content, especially the antioxidants you get from raw fruits and vegetables are unparalleled. Most germs that invade your body produce free radicals to try to get past your immune system. The antioxidants help reduce the effect of these free radicals, thereby weakening the invaders.

Check your vitamin

Both onions and garlic have natural antiviral and antibiotic properties. Vitamins including vitamin C act as antioxidants, which protect especially the cells of your immune system from damage by toxins in the environment. Berries, kale and broccoli are rich in flavonoids, polyphenols and other antioxidants. B vitamins and zinc too are vital for the immune system. Minerals can be had from leafy green veggies although seaweed is the perfect source.
